Members must stay logged in for the duration of the meeting to vote
Members cannot call into the meeting to vote

How to Login:
You must login with your username, not your email address.
Usernames are your employee number, without any proceeding letters or numbers. For example, if your employee number is P00987987, you will need to enter 987987.

OPSEU/SEFPO Convention
“Convention is the union’s highest ranking authority,
where delegates debate and vote on policy and constitutional motions.”
The OPSEU/SEFPO Convention will be held in Toronto from Thursday, April 20 to Saturday April 22. Local 2100 is entitled to elect 9 delegates and up to 9 Alternates and elections will be held during the GMM. The Local President is an automatic Delegate, therefore, members will be voting for 8 Delegates and up to 9 Alternates. Members wishing to run for these positions MUST stay at Convention for the duration and will NOT be paid to attend outside of working hours. Attendance will be monitored.
If needed, Alternates will be voted after Delegates. If you are interested in being an Alternate, and should you not be elected as a Delegate, please ensure you are also nominated as an Alternate.

If you would like your speech posted on the Local 2100 website, please email your speech to secretary-treasurer@opseu2100.ca, no later than 9:00 pm on February 6. Speeches will be posted on the website on February 7 at 9:00 am and removed once elections are complete. Nominees will have the opportunity to share their speech during the meeting. In the interest of time, we ask nominees limit their speech to a maximum of 2 minutes.

Trustee Elections ( 1 Voluntary Position)
In order to run as a Trustee, you “may not hold any other office in any Local.” (OPSEU/SEFPO constitution 29.6.1) i.e. you cannot be a Steward or LEC member and you must be a member in good standing in order to hold an elected position.
Please complete and submit a nomination form to Cheryl Wing at cwing@opseu.org. Nominations for the Trustee position will be accepted up until the GMM and nominees will have an opportunity to provide a speech at the GMM.

Role of Trustee:
Ensure the integrity of the Local’s bookkeeping, by reviewing the local’s financial records at least twice a year.
Report, twice a year, to the membership that the trustee audit reports (TAR) for the local are complete.

Committee Elections (Voluntary Positions)
A maximum of 5 members will be elected per Committee during the meeting.
DECE Committee
The DECE committee will collaborate to support and advance the specific needs of the DECE’s.
Equity & Inclusion Committee
The Equity & Inclusion Committee will address and implement proactive strategies to mitigate concerns regarding human rights and discrimination.
Sunshine Committee
The Sunshine committee acknowledges (by way of sending a card) any major event a member may be experiencing, such as a birth, marriage, personal loss, illness and other important successes. This committee relies on other members to pass on any of this information to the Committee.
