I would like to talk about accountability—what it means to us as a union and why it is crucial for our collective success. Accountability is not just a buzzword; it is the foundation of our union’s integrity and strength. It is about being responsible for our actions, ensuring transparency in our operations, and fostering a culture of trust among our members.
As your Trustee, I am committed to ensuring that our union operates with the highest level of accountability. This means that every decision we make, every dollar we spend, and every initiative we undertake will be done with the utmost care and consideration for our members’ interests.
One of my primary responsibilities is to ensure that our financial practices are transparent. Accountability goes beyond just financial transparency. It is also about engagement and communication.
