Committee guidelines were created to ensure committees are structured and focused on achieving their objectives, leading to more efficient decision-making.
An Officer Executive liaison is appointed to each committee and their role is purely advisory. Liaisons do not attend committee meetings, however, can be invited to join a meeting for the purpose of providing guidance without decision-making authority. Liaisons do not hold voting rights and do not contribute to quorum if attending a meeting.
