Union Stewards
We encourage you to connect with your Union Steward. Stewards serve as a key resource for members in the workplace, providing local support, sharing union updates, and offering guidance on workplace questions, rights, and available resources. They also act as a trusted link between members and the Union’s Executive Officers, helping ensure clear and consistent communication across schools.

Become a Union Steward
If you are interested in becoming a Union Steward, this role provides an excellent opportunity to get more involved in the Union and support your colleagues. Stewards receive training and access to resources to help them carry out their responsibilities effectively. In addition, they gain a deeper understanding of workplace rights and union processes, develop leadership and communication skills, and play a direct role in strengthening the union’s presence in their school.
