Update: OLRB Application

We now have a clearer picture of the timeline for the process to determine the scope of central and local bargaining tables following a meeting of the parties on September 17.

OLRB hearing dates for all education worker unions (including OPSEU/SEFPO) will be held on October 6, 21, 27, and 28. We expect to have an expedited decision from the board in early November. 

Next Steps

For now our focus will be to continue to organize in our workplaces and communities so we are prepared to respond firmly to any situation.  

We are in active discussions regarding what our next steps will look like and will keep members fully informed of any developments. 

Large rallies for publicly funded education will be taking place on Saturday October 24 from 1:00pm to 2:30pm in Toronto, Ottawa, London, Sudbury, and Thunder Bay.
